The Watch

Peter Benchley dies...
The man who wrote the book that became one of the greatest movies in an era... RIP...

Saddam returns to court...
The show must go on, I guess, but I view it with a certain degree of apathy.

Oh, and finally... US Government 'failed' on Katrina...
Oh really? Wow... Fancy that! I'm shocked!

US Government 'failed' on Katrina

It is hilarious how that is somehow considered "news".

I know!

I had to laugh... not that I'm knocking the USA, I mean, England isn't exactly a saintly country... but talk about stating the obvious!

My favorite news article of the day is our, (the US,) talking about selling weapons to Algeria (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/13/international/africa/13rumsfeld.html?_r=1&oref=slogin), because all the other small countries with poor civil rights records we've sold arms too have turned out so well...

sometimes I feel like we're doomed to repeate the same mistakes infinitely.

I feel the same way sometimes, it's crazy...
