I thought about this a bit. There isn't a thing I would do differently because if I did, I probably wouldn't be the person I am today. I'm not sure if I'd like that.
I deliberated on this for quite some time and determined the following. Ever since I was a child I have been bothered, nay plagued by sharp, cutting pains in my lowest extremities. I don't talk about it much because nothing can really fix these problems permanently. So, every four to six weeks I quietly schedule my out-patient surgery even though I am scared out of my wits. Due to the nature of the procedure there is no anesthetic so I have to grit my teeth and curse a bit.
Let me tell you - I HATE my ingrown toe nails. So, it needs to be two things so I can get both big toes, m'kay?
I do have trouble with my big toes but I would not change a thing. Except for: (unfolds very long list). Even the bad things have made me who I am today. I say the addiction(s) could go to the wayside though.
i used to say i would've played receiver (probably slot, because i don't have outside speed) because of my hands (a couple years ago i dropped a pass in our annual thanksgiving game, and my best friend declared that he no longer believed in god), but in the last couple years i realized that i would've made the perfect safety. i've got the right size (6', 195 lbs.), speed, and i'm good at tackling and shedding blocks.
If you go back and change one experience you are, in effect, committing suicide. None the less, if I could change one thing I would not let those incompetent doctors come anywhere near Chrystal to perform three surgeries in under a month and a half. Maybe she would still be alive.
