In my kitchen on Thanksgiving morning, cooking with my sister while the rest of the house is still fast asleep and quiet. It still feels more like the "home" from my childhood. Which is odd really because we were not big "holiday" people. We celebrated the holidays but it was usually just the 4 of us. On Easter we went to my mom's sisters and on Christmas we went to dads brother's but all the other holidays were just us. I will confess that the house has to be what I call "mommy" (mommy being me) clean for me to relax and when I have my home "mommy" clean and I can relax then I feel at home!
In Flushing New York with John. But I know you already know that! LOL! First time since i was a kid that a place felt like home to me. That's gotta mean something.
playing football. i had to think about that one for a while, but when i'm playing football it's the only time i really feel free. i can say what i want, do what i want, and i tear up the field, too. not to mention that laying the wood on somebody is just one hell of a stress relief.
On the top of painkiller (a mountain near my place) with my camera a book and a warm fire...it's warm and home like up there, I picture myself in a little cabin beside a roaring fire place with a window facing the edge that looks over Painkiller lake...If it werent crown land I would build a little cabin right there.

Martial arts class... does it sound incredibly horrible to say that the biggest stress reliever in the world involves facing your opponent and seeing who's limping home? I always felt most comfortable there with those guys. We were all trying to find the same thing, some inner strength or something.
