Took Kira to the Aquarium. She got splashed by a sting ray - and fell in love with yet another tiger...
Dropped by my Dad's house for 15 minutes - just long enough to say hi and to catch the opening play of the Superbowl - and then headed to our favorite restaurant with Kira - which was delightfully uncrowded.
Came home - put her to bed - and watched the DVR-recorded game with liberal use of the 30-second fast forward skip button.
If you mean the superbowl (even if they don't have American football in England :P), I didn't do anything. I don't watch football- don't understand it. hehe.
We went to Red Lobster for lunch to celebrate ritkirby's 25th bday, then came back and ate cake, opened presents, hung out. Then we watched the big game with their HD projector on a 74 inch screen. I feel asleep near the end of the second half and had to be driven home sleepy. It was one of the most relaxing days ever! :-)
Superbowl Sunday!!! I had Nachos and wings on the go all day, then we had my summer potatoes and porketta for supper. All the guys were here so we went through A LOT of food :D
woke up around 1, watched some tv (cbs had a nice li'l thing about t.j. houshmandzadeh!), stocked up on some, shall we say, less-than-legal provisions, ate too much, went to my sister's house, discussed the boringness of the game and lameness of the commercials, ranted about dominic rhodes getting robbed of the mvp, set out into the cold and went home. how 'bout you?
