I wrote something in [livejournal.com profile] onelinecreative

But now I want to edit it... So the new version is here:

The heart never knows what comes
It moves forward, loving
Giving all it can
Until a knife in the dark
Pierces through beating flesh
And all the love falls

Crimson rain

Just as the clouds never expect it,
when it rains

And fade away into nothing
The heart never expects it,
when it breaks
And wants to fade away

Clouds are always re-formed
Sometimes the same water,
sometimes different,
they always return to rain again

But can a heart, broken, be re-made?
Can flesh once rended be healed?
Can blood once spilt return?
Can love truly be that strong?

As long as the heart still beats, there is hope.

As long as the heart still beats and mind still fights to hold on, there is the will to survive. Otherwise hope stands no chance.

I like this one a little better than the OLC one because it has both sides of the coin. The first version was more negative. This one at least has some redeeming light.

Good edit A.

What made you change it? Call me curious.

I changed it because the original was rushed, and didn't end right, it also seemed bitty to me, and I knew I could do better...

That and, as you know, I'm ever the romantic, and always hopeful :D
