All of us want alot of things. But I will tell you what I want. A man who loves me completely and won't break my heart. Hopefully John is that man... so far so good.

I cant speak for everyone, but I think the majority of both genders really wants to be loved, understood, and safe in whatever way is best for that person.
love, harmony, contentment, sympathy, acknowledgment, a man who isn't selfish in bed, compliments, appreciation, empathy, etc, etc, etc . . . and the need not to constantly remind men that women need these things . . . .
Women - to be appreciated, loved and occasionally pampered. Men - to be appreciated, loved and occassionally really really sexed up. Well, not occassionally. ..but you know what I mean.
women: who knows? we all know what they say they want, but actions dictate otherwise. men: i don't know about the rest, but i don't want the world, i just want your half.
Women want the exact opposite of what they say 90% of the time, exactly what they say 10% of the time, and a man smart enough to know when to do which.
World peace? Oodles of money? A home-cooked meal (so long as it's edible!)? Hot and steamy sex? All of the above?
I think we are all human, and we have the same basic wants and needs no matter what sex we are. The specifics may be a matter of personal preference, but the basics are the same! **grins**
