Do you believe ghosts exist, and have you seen any?

Ghosts... not really. Spirits on the other hand is a different ballgame; J&B, Glenn Fiddich, Eristoff...

I see/hear/smell them on a regular basis. And that's just a twig off the supernatural tree, of which i have the whole thing stuffed in my experiences grab bag.

People i meet are usually surprised that i believe in "that stuff". And i end up telling them it's hard to NOT believe when one has been through what i have. :[

Yes and I don't know. At Thanksgiving Nan and I were sitting in the living room and we both saw a silver strip of light go through the house and through the window. It wasn't scary. I told Nan and she told me she was wondering if anyone else had seen it.

Also, a few years ago I had a phantom cat jump up on me when I was living in the garage. I turned on the light but there was nothing there. Again, it wasn't scary, just had me wondering how the hell a cat got into the room in the first place since there were no more cats in the house.

I do believe in ghosts. The only experience I had with one was when I was five and in the dark house by myself (my parents were sitting outside with friends). This presence, a little bit lighter than the dark, moved towards me; it left when I screamed my head off and my parents came running in.

I haven't seen a ghost since then - but most of my Lao friends have had many experiences. Makes me look over my shoulder all the time but I haven't felt a ghost since I've lived here.

I never, never, never believed in ghosts. And I was pretty adamant about it too. Nonsense, I'd say. Then something happened that blew me away and changed my viewpoint completely. I DID see a ghost, I'm convinced of it. It's a long story - maybe I'll write an entry about it soon.

Yes; at least, I've found no other explanation.

Years ago, I used to live in my grandmother's old house. As a teen, any time I needed to fix my bike, I'd go into the cellar, into my grandfather's tool room (I never met my grandfather). I'd tell him what I needed, close my eyes, turn around, and... there it was.

I also routinely notice "ghost cats" out of the corner of my eye. Well, not so much here, but in my old house in upstate NY, all the time. Others noticed them there, too.

I very much do believe in spooks, to quote the Cowardly Lion. :D I've never seen one with my eyes, but I have very many times felt them near and around me, and have talked with a couple on various ouija boards.

Yes.

I believe in Ghosts, I'd be a fool not to when the flat above the hotel that I live in has more than one spirit presence.

I have been aware of someone in the office (in the flat) with me on a number of occasions but never seen them. I can often hear someone moving around the flat, opening and closing doors walking up and down the corridor.

In the past I was sitting in an arm chair with the cat asleep on my lap, I watched a cat walk into the doorway of the room turn around and walk out. You may think it was just another cat from the area, but we are on the second floor with no way in or out for another cat.

In the kitchen corridor of the hotel a young lady stands at the door way watching what people are doing in the corridor and sometimes waves.

I have watched things flying around in the hotel kitchen (for once not flying around because I have lost my temper and thrown them). It's weird

Yes, it was a long time ago that I actually saw one though. I was maybe 19, home for the summer from college and driving through the canyons at night with a friend. We saw a person standing by the side of the road, (I guess hitch-hiking, I'm not sure). We had gone too far in the wrong direction and needed to turn around. The road is one lane in each direction, no turn-outs. So we passed the person and drove maybe another 1/2 mile and turned around and when we came back they were gone. No cars had past us or been behind us. The canyon is steep and there was no where that person could have gone. My friend and I both were silent for a few minutes and I turned to her and asked her if she noticed the person wasn't by the roadside. She said she had been thinking about it and did I think maybe it was a ghost? I agreed.

And yes, I think so. On more than one occasion. I have enough proof for myself, just not for anyone else.

Cat Ghosts

I've seen quite a few ghost cats. And heard them, too, also with witnesses. Most of my ghost experiences have been with cat spirits lurking around here. There's one that routinely likes to hang out under my computer desk. When I'm in here writing at night, sometimes a dark cat shape will come out by my legs and walk across the floor - when none of the other cats are in here at all and the door is closed. First couple of times I went searching, thinking that I screwed up and left a cat in here by accident at night. Of course, the living cats were all where they were supposed to be, and looking at me like I was nuts. Now, I'm just sort of used to it.

It took a couple of months for our kitten, Davos, to get used to it. But it was kind of cute watching him get a big tail while looking at the door to the Study, where the computers are kept. Now Davos also just looks and keeps on going.

I don't understand how anyone can believe that cats or animals don't have souls. If an animal can have a ghost, then it follows that it should have a soul, too.
