People who read every word I write, and then read between the lines, should know a great deal about me... A lot of me is hidden in plain sight :D

Hm. That is a little hard to say, because I do not assume that folks pay that much attention as a general rule. I would say my daughter knows me pretty well. A small handful of people here on LJ interact with me enough that I think they know me pretty well (you included). I hope that my Love knows me pretty well, but it is hard to say there. I may not share that much about things from previous years, but if someone wants to know me, it really isn't that hard to figure out who I am.

I'm pretty open in my journal, so most people on here know me quite well.

In real life only a few people know me. I could count them on one hand. Most other people make too many assumptions based on age and their own bias, without knowing me at all.

There are many things about me that people can take at face value, but there are somethings that I keep so secret that only one or two people know it or no one knows it. I hold some secrets that will never ever be told under any circumstances. I am a keeper of secrets and even a fosterer of lies as I see fit, and I do NOT give a shit how people feel about the latter. Some folks only know the funny side of me because they choose to only acknowledge that side of me. That's mostly fine, but it does sometime vex me a little when I'm trying to help them.

Most people have me figured out in no time. I'm not a quiet, reserved person at all. I speak my mind, ask questions, and voice my opinions often enough that it's not hard to get to know me IRL at all. People always tell me after only a couple hours that they feel like they've known me for years. WYSIWYG with me, really.

I express a lot on LJ that I don't express in RL - so a bunch of people that I haven't met and may never meet know a lot more about me than most people in RL do.

There are a very small few people in RL who know anything about me at all. The rest only know what they assume. But then, if they'd ask, they'd know more. Tells ya something...

LMAO! Actually, I don't mind that at all! It's a great way to get the person to loosen the knot up enough so that they might be able to solve it themselves. I think it's more like going to a restaurant because they serve great deserts but never ordering an appetizer or the main meal.

I'm pretty much an open book. Some of my friends on lj know me pretty well. I think my friends know me a great deal and my family know me better than anyone else. I don't hide a lot of things. Or even if I try to friends can always see via the way I type or the way I talk/act that something is wrong and if they ask I usually break down and let it all out.
