Do you mean cartoon cartoon, or does anything animated qualify?

It used to be Robotech, which was a combination of 3 separate Japanese anime series.

The New Adventures of Jonny Quest was cool, because for a 14 year-old, Jonny was hot with a cute little ass...

Now, I'd have to say it is The Last Unicorn for feature-length animation. For a cartoon cartoon, though, hmm... The only one I watch even occasionally is Tutenstein, since they took Invader Zim off the air.

I really liked the Super Friends. Wonder Twin Powers activate!

And there was one that I can't seem to find much info on, and no one seems to remember, about a horse called Foxfire.

LOVE The Last Unicorn. I kick myself for not picking it up when I saw it at a used place a while back.

Justice League/Justice League Unlimited. The best presentation of super heroes in animation. And I own all of it on DVD.

Can I get an Amen?

Long list made really short - I trimmed a lot down for the essentials.

Anime: Saiyuki, Utena, Magic User's Club, Goldenboy (You gotta see Goldenboy, dude! The adult sex humour is awesome! You will really dig it. Especially the business exec, the swimming instructor and the motorcycle girl who uses her bike as a vibrator!) Life is study!

Old School: Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man & the Masters of the Universe, G.I. Joe, Speed Racer

Old Old School: Hong Kong Phooey, Mighty Mouse, Looney Toons, Underdog, Justice League, Godzilla

Edited for the ones I forgot from my early childhood line-up...

For me, being a complete animation geek this cannot be answered by one single answer. It gets complicated.
