Knowledge, ideas, philosophy. I cannot rely on the love of others, or my own, so that is out. Satisfaction brings me joy. Survival does as well, though that can be construed as "Satisfaction of survival". All else is fleeting.
Other things, like friendship, bring me comfort, or peace, but not complete bliss or joy. Mostly, it all feels temporary.

But it only goes so far. Love ends, but there is always something new to learn, or a new thought to think.
Learning that knowledge you have can hurt if your pride is high, but if you except it, you learn something new, and can take joy in that. If you love the wrong person, it hurts. A lot.
