What would you do today if you suddenly had the day off?

Workaholic I am I would probably work more on cleaning out the garage. About the only thing that slowed me down this weekend was running out of garbage cans.

Start/continue working on the quilt projects that are currently in the works.

Or... If I'm really lucky (please note tinge of sarcasm), try to get some sleep.

Work in my art journal, paint, write, ramble in my journal, build a fairy house out of twigs with my kids, build a sand castle (in the huge mounds of dirt all through my yard now), write letters and bake. ::smiles:: And rent a chick flick to watch while eating either cheesecake or ice cream.

Which? the quilting or the sleeping?

Quilting is about the most relaxing thing I have going at the present time.

Sleep still eludes me.

I didn't even have to pause to think this one over -- it just came to me as though it was waiting in the wings for this question to be asked. ::smiles::

Quilting is soothing (for the most part). Even when I want to throw the piece against the wall... When all is said and done, it's a rare thing for me to make something that I don't have some measure of pride in. Even if it's just the construction.
