that can be sensed
but not felt
I close my eyes
and let it wash
over me

It lifts me
not physically
but in all other ways
I fly
without wings
on the intricate flows
of this invisible wave
this sound

It touches my soul
and makes it sing
in counterpoint
adding another thread
to this intricate tapestry
seen through my ears
