For luck? Nothing - I'm naturally lucky. =)

Although! I *will* often wear one of my various amulets that features my favorite virgin. =) I don't use it to ward against evil or anything - more of an icon representing my faith and heritage.

I don't carry a specific item all the time. I do have certain items I wear/carry when going into specific situations.

There's a little bitty gargoyle figurine in my purse that I carry around for luck. My Mommy got him for me. :)

I don't carry anything around for luck or sentimental reasons, per se, but I very often wear a silver band on one of my ring fingers. It's partially just because I like the way silver bands look on my finger, but I think from that stems a kind of aesthetic calming effect that it has on me. It returns me to tranquillity to look at the ring on my hand, even though the ring itself has no special value to me (other than the physical craft of it). The shape of hands in general is very comforting for me, and the ring adds something to it.

Sentimental?? Well, I have found myself wearing an anklet that belongs to my mom quite often.Actually I never take it off. Although I sometimes forget I'm even wearing the thing but when I remember it brings a smile to my face...aw, how cute :">

I carry a velvety scrunchie (that has since lost it's elastic so it is really a piece of cloth now) around with me, it helps to ease my anxiety I give it all little rub now and again, I guess I always have to be doing something with my hands. I debated for a second on whether that could be taken the wrong way or not *LOL*
I just realized that this does not fit into either category you asked about. But it is something I carry around with me.

I don't really carry anything around...but hanging from my car mirror is a pendant my mom always wore that says "God answers prayer", my dad's dog tags, and a small ring for each person I've lost...on a chain.

I have a little coin that says, "Embrace Life". It's not really sentimental.. but it reminds me to keep going & take whatever life has to offer, because even the bad stuff means there is good out there too.

I carry stones around with me. One I have with me at all times and the other I carry in my pocket when I travel. I received both from smaller when she was two years old.

Funny enough, when I was cleaning her school bag out not too long ago, I remarked that it was quite heavy, "What, are you carrying rocks in here or something?" She giggled, then pulled out several rocks and stones of various sizes.

The child has a knack for it I guess.
