What are the things you would like to change most about your life, yourself, and your home?

Life: I want to live together with the woman I love instead of being in an LDR with her.
Myself: I'd love to lose some weight, stop smoking and have a bit more hair (on my head).
Home: It's an old house and quite common but I'm fine with it. I still want to put in new ceilings and a new kitchen though.
:)

I am with you on the LDR, hard at the best of times, excruciatingly difficult at the worst of times. I hope you are able to change this for yourself and 'the woman you love' soon. *friendly smile*

As for the hair and weigh comment, you look lovely in your icons, so not sure why you would need or want to change that, but we all have issues with our own self image I guess.

Oh and hello, sorry to but in, the LDR comment just struck a cord of sorts with me. I hope you don't mind my comments.

Be well.

Thanks, and no problem.

An LDR is not for the faint of heart, that's for sure, but I can honestly say that it's all worth it and I have never been more in love with anyone than I am with her. She's all I ever dreamed of and I'm hoping that she'll be able to come live over here with me really soon.

ccup.

One can't find love via distance, meaning it happens with whom it happens irregardless of geography. I was born in the states, lived in the UK for 10 years now headed back to the states, so I understand the whole process only too well.

Good luck to you both, and much happiness. *soft smile*

Life - nothing.  It may not be a bed of roses all the time, but it's mine.

Myself - I would like to have a little more patience with some things.  I'm working on it. :)

My home - that there was a little less work (read - expense) to put into it, but the end results make up for all that.

I've been thinking about how to answer this... To be blunt - not a damn thing. My life, me and my home are what I've made of them. What the Hubby and I have made of them. Good and bad.

You can't have the good stuff without the bad stuff. How else will you be able to appreciate either?

Life: I probably would have tried to improve my social life earlier on. It becomes difficult to ameliorate now due to plain habit. :P
Self: I would be able to have more peace of mind. I would not be so distant and withdrawn as I sometimes end up being. I would also not have depressive tendencies.
Home: I would make my family less chaotic and loud, more reasonable and calm. I would make it easier to travel from this city.

I don't think I'd change anything about my life in general. I have a great husband, two perfect children...

Myself? I'd change my teeth to much straighter ones. And I'd have rock hard abs, haha. And I wish my hair was longer!

My home? I'd move it closer to my husband's job so he didn't have to drive over an hour to get to work!

2- I want to get rid of all my debt

3- I want to move closer to the Atlanta area so I'm not in redneckville anymore :)

Life - work at a job I actually like. To be happy to go to work instead of dreading it almost every day. And not to have to worry so much about money.

Myself - Be more confident and calm. Not worry so much about everything.

My Home - To be in New York with John and create a home and life with him.

About my life?

I would change nothing.

About myself?

My looks. All of it. Thinner, new breasts, face lift, nose job. All of it.

My home?

Lots. Too homey, but until the kids are gone, well..that is how it has to be. Next house? Darker, more seculded, marble floors, satin sheets, black lace...

Working on the following:

.Finding a better job/career - at least somewhat related to what I actually have a degree and certifications for - that is, in psych or ed.
.Finding my self esteem/self worth, believing people when they say good things about me.
.Becoming most sociable.
.Losing weight.
.Not cutting all my hair off, no matter how annoying it is, until it's long enough to donate.
.Moving out of present living arrangement, and into my own anything (even if it's rented!)[directly related to the first point].

Yes I am ready to achieve all of that. I know it won't be easy, but I am up for the challenge. Life in general isn't easy, let alone making big changes in life. But when you know what you want, and are tired of what is happening in life now, you tend to just jump in and paddle as hard as you can, hoping you will make it.

That is for sure. LDRs are not for the faint of heart. I am in one myself and going through immigration to be with him. And it's exciting, terrifying, and stressful. I just keep thinking, "I will be there soon and never have to leave him again." Most times I believe that, but I do worry that Immigration will deny us just to be mean.. heh.

I hope your Lady will be with you soon. Distance is so hard...

I held off on answering this question of the day, it's definitely a loaded question for me. But one that jump starts my brain.
The short of it (yeah right my answers are never short:

Life -- I would like to be happy, if it takes medication to do so then I would like to make peace with that and move on. No more living in limbo.

Myself -- I would like to be the best person/woman that I can. I would like to give back, share in my blessings and life lessons. I want to be a whole person. I am in a state of constant reflection and process. I like to keep reinventing and improving myself.
One current goal = get healthy physically

Home -- I would like to have one. I have moved every two years since I was 19. I never settle in a place for too long. I would love to come home to a home my own home and not have to think about it anymore.
