News about Belgium, about Lexington(KY) and also medical news (to find out if there's anything new on the diabetes/celiac front) and then tech-news mostly. I like reading the Inquirer and The Register online. Other than that I try to keep up with world news in general but I'm not frantic about it. :) ccup
I agree with what other people posted. I do find myself most interested in news about about health and medicine. Also, any science stuff. It's nice to hear about our civilization moving forward. It's better than all the news of corrupt politicians...
There is no one type of news that interests me. All news is interesting and I find that I would rather be apprised of what's happening, than not. Locally and globally.
good news, something positive, something that makes my dat, something that makes me think that not all humans are waiting to kill or main another, thats what news interests me.
anything to do with custody battles, sadly this means Britney, but a swear it has nothing to do with her. they should make a reality show where they document(like True Life, MTV) both sides of divorces where kids are involved. Everyone would see there are two perspectives, and noone is neccessarily lying, just bias. eye opener, right?
i could give a damn what britney or paris or ellen are doing in their lives, but i won't, because they don't do very significant things for humanity.
i was instantly glued to a tele the other day because i saw "LIVE" at the top of the screen, and then i realized that 15 minutes of live coverage were being devoted to a hotel 2000 miles away from me being demolished. they talked about ellen's dog while they waited for the building to drop. i don't like costly, unimportant news.
