first comment wut! my most heart warming memory of this year was the first time my mother came back home from the hospital after her back surgery. everyone in my family, even people i hadnt seen in a decade, came to my house and waited hours for my mother to arrive. when she finally did everyone said "SURPRISE! WELCOME HOME!" and immediately my mother broke ito tears, so did many other people. they were tears of happiness, of course =)
[tries to think this late at night] Ummm... probably moving home. It hasn't been a barrel of monkeys being here (yet) but it was SO good to roll into town with all of my stuff and realize that I'm home where I belong.
It was had just last night when someone actually confided in me. It was really odd, too, 'cause it was the last thing i expected to happen. I'm not exactly the "confiding to" type.
But i got an earful, he got some genuine Kat advice, and nothing was really resolved. Hopefully, he can get some peace eventually.
I suppose i should add that it was heart warming 'cause of the nature of the conversation. *nod*
*smiles* Greg spinning my round in the first snow fall telling me he loved me.
And that's closely followed by him down on one knee a while later offering me a ring as I got a train. The whole carriage cheered and clapped when I said yes.
Yups. He'd had the ring engraved and kept it for a month before finding the right time. Which was obviously when I was getting on a train to go away for a month and would cry most and be horribly embarrassed in front of people I had to spend the next two hours with. Sometimes I could kill him...
