Wow, so many jobs I would love to do, but cant, or havn’t for various reasons, some may be obtainable in the future, some not

1: Actor – I would love to do this making superb films, action / sci-fi would be my genres.

2: Writer – I would love to do this

3: I would also like to do work that helped kids and animals, maybe taking ill and/or poor kids on holidays, giving poor and underprivileged kids education and jobs (not menial crap jobs) etc to get their feet on the ladder so to speak and to move away from violence and gangs, if I won buckets on the lottery this is what I would do.

Animals wse again i would have a sanctuary that looked after endangered / ill animals.

Ideally i would like to do both of these :)

I'd love to be a professional cartoonist, but I'm quite happy with my current job in automation actually.

Believe it or not, the two I have: mother and professor. I'd love to be published more (and more profitably), but as far as occupations go, I'm employed in the manner in which I set out to be. As it happens, I picked the correct one!

Housewife and home-schooling mother.

Seriously.

Should the unthinkable happen and I never conceive, then I'll settle for Theology professor.

Professional writer. Failing that(or in addition to), librarian.

Heh.  I was looking at the other comments and saw that someone actually wants my job and I thought to myself: "Alas, poor soul, they have no idea what they're wishing for."

Then I got to thinking, do I really want to answer this "grass is greener" type of question?  As you know, along with a whole new set of "perks" come a whole new set of "consequences".  I could very easily say "My ideal job is __________." and someone else could come along, read my comment and say, "Alas, poor soul, they have no idea what they're wishing for."

So, I'll just stick with what I know and say, "My current job is just fine."

:D

I've been trying to figure that out for the last 8 years and have narrowed it down to two things.

I really wanna sing 'cause people tell me i have a great singing voice, and i've always imagined myself up on stage in front of a throng of adoring fans, but no one would come watch a band with that "fat chick" as the lead singer. Nor do i think anyone would even let me audition. Even if i look and sound fantastic. Stupid hollywood beauty ideals.

The only other thing i'd like to do is to work with computers. Hence my going back to school to learn about the IT world. :)

Well, I am fairly happy with the one I have but if I could go back and do something else, I would love to be a cook (and I would have a restaurant dedicated to people with allergies).
