What drives you to do the right thing, even when it's the hardest thing to do?

Well, that depends on what the 'right thing' is under the circumstances. Mostly, I do what I *think* is best for all concerned - especially in circumstances where there is no definite right or wrong thing to do.

Well depends on the *right thing* we're talking about. I usually do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.

However, the *right thing* in my instance about the instructor issue is the *right thing* to do, even if I do not win the appeal because other students might benefit from said action.

My personal integrity and ethical code...

Obviously, each situation is evaluated individually - and both the costs and the benefits to me and others is weighed. I'm usually willing to accept the costs if the benefit for others is significant... and appreciated. ;)
