My parents threatened my life more times than I could count for the "Why?" game.

WTF? I only wanted straight answers about the origins of things. All they gave a damn about were the surface answers.

The What ...
I needed to find something that works to keep me alive, flourishing and giving, practical and very human. I was painted into a corner by the disease of addiction. I could not fathom the tone of the faith I grew up with. I was miserable and likely to die. I am free today, because I simplified, along with people who are doing the same in their various ways. As practical as it all is, there is a tremendous Mystery. : )

haha...um...well when I tell most people they tend to think I'm nuts...

anywho

I think I've always believed in God on some level...we've been church going folk since we were littles...but it wasn't until I was in a very dark time and God actually physically touched me and pulled me from the gates of Hell that my faith was locked in...and since then I've not doubted for a second.
