What is the most surprising reaction you've known someone to have on meeting you?

Wow, you are tall.
Not that I am super tall or anything but I am 5'10 and then if I am wearing heels you can add about 2 inches.

I was surprised last Friday when someone came up to me and said I was "gorgeous" repeatedly. But then again, I'm pretty sure he was wasted.

My freshmen English teacher told me right of the bat that she didn't want me in her class and that she didn't like Black girls because one pulled her hair once. Then one day, she let the wrong word slip out of her mouth. She no longer works at that college.

A couple of people have said they felt intimidated before meeting me...but once they met me it was all good...I don't get it either...I don't think I'm the least bit intimidating!

Mind you I did quite a bit of that too.
When I was working in Holland, the place was really big (and is even bigger still now) and you'd see people around but not know their names.
Until one day two people have to finally work together, one goes to the other's office, knock on the door enter and goes: "Oh, it's YOU!" because you've seen each other a lot before...

Most look at me like I have three heads, and two of them are in a glass jar. I figure I must look way uglier than my pictures, though I like what I see in the mirror generally than what the photo reveals. Go figure.

Oh, and that I'm quite short. And I'm not even the shortest guy I know.
