Wow, you are tall.
Not that I am super tall or anything but I am 5'10 and then if I am wearing heels you can add about 2 inches.

I don't know...maybe I give off the impression I am short?

I was surprised last Friday when someone came up to me and said I was "gorgeous" repeatedly. But then again, I'm pretty sure he was wasted.

My freshmen English teacher told me right of the bat that she didn't want me in her class and that she didn't like Black girls because one pulled her hair once. Then one day, she let the wrong word slip out of her mouth. She no longer works at that college.

When I was working in Holland, the place was really big (and is even bigger still now) and you'd see people around but not know their names.
Until one day two people have to finally work together, one goes to the other's office, knock on the door enter and goes: "Oh, it's YOU!" because you've seen each other a lot before...

Most look at me like I have three heads, and two of them are in a glass jar. I figure I must look way uglier than my pictures, though I like what I see in the mirror generally than what the photo reveals. Go figure.

Oh, and that I'm quite short. And I'm not even the shortest guy I know.

That they didn't feel comfortable around me. I have been told I am very easy to talk to and such and to hear the opposite kinda shocked me. I know at times I can be reserved, but it's more out of shyness than anything else.

I went on a 'date' with a guy I met online. We really hit it off online and on the phone and I thought things were going well. We had dinner and in the middle of the meal he gets up to use the bathroom and never came back. Leaving me with the bill and no ride home. I ended up taking a cab. Good thing I had enough money on me.

He apparently changed his email and his chat names and ignored my phone calls. It would have been nice to know why.

I've heard a lot of surprising things....that I look a lot younger than I am, that I am a lot stronger than I look, that I am much quieter than expected, that I am really short.
