My parents are not behaving well these days. Mid-life crisis and the like.
I'd have to say I'm a pretty fair split of both of them when they are normal. I might be a little more like my Dad, but I see a lot of my Mom in me sometimes.

In looks - I'm a very even split, although, I'm a dead ringer for my maternal grandmother in some ways.

In temperment - I'm the black sheep. I don't really resemble anyone.

I have a lot of my dad's negative traits. I do have some of my mum's traits too though.

I don't actually have a simple answer to this...

Father (deceased - as my grandma would say, pre-cuckoo, may he rest in pieces!): Eyes (blue), hair (color), sense of humor, body shape, math ability, mental illness, possibly other things

Mother: hair (texture), thin wrists & ankles, some degree of emotional makeup, mental illness, diabetes, social problems, probably other things...

Well, I would say my mother as I have her fear of germs and certain ailments. She and I are both lactose intolerant and have horrible digestive systems.

Other than certain things I really don't take after anyone in my family other then my uncle but only slightly. I am a lone wolf :-D original copy...

My father is the dominant parent in me. My loving and caring side is my mother, but the other side, all the anger, hate and reclusiveness comes from Dad.

Does not help I have many of his physical characteristics. And they claim Ash is a little "Craig" too.

See.... that's tough. I used to think i was mostly like my mom in almost every way. But lately i've noticed that i have a lot of my dad's traits. Unfortunately they're pretty much just NEGATIVE traits: Short temper (at times), grumpy when we don't leave for a trip "on time", grumpy when I'm woken up from a nap, weird about conserving energy by keeping the thermostat low during the winter.... i could go on.

But overall, i'm probably still more like my mom. And i'm not sure why the only major traits i have from my dad are negative. It's kinda weird.

That's a tough one. I have some of my mom's physical characteristics.... but really I look like a female version of my father in the face/hands/feet. One of my nicknames growing up was "Jolly Green Sprout" (Daddy was the Jolly Green Grump, because he's so tall), simply because I was SO much like him in looks/temperament. :)

Both. And neither.

I take after my father in looks, build, nationality, and general temperament (placid but when I snap I have the most fiery Irish temper and you're best getting outta my way). I take after my mother in hair colour and...um...hair colour.

However, my mother was a manipulative sadist who hated sex and my father was aloof and unable to love. I don't take either of their outward personality traits.

It's fairly balanced.
I have my mother's artistic bent, and her rather laid back approach to most things (and people) in life, as well as her obscure sense of the ridiculous.
I have my father's memory for information, his respect for hard work and the people that do it, and his overwhelming capacity for physical violence.
