Does paying a reduced price for something affect your perception of its quality?

Boy, the things that enter my mind when I wake up... Couldn't I have had a more fun thought? :P

Depends on what it is. This country is way too expensive anyway so I think 35/45% off everything as it is should be the standard price anyway. But if you go buy those no name sausages for 60p then expect it to be full of shit quality. If you pay £1 for that T-Shirt in Primark except it to be made by some 7 year old thai boy on £3 a week.

I actually have more trouble buying things at full price.

Depends on why it's reduced. If it's due to damage then possibly ... if it was just an overstock, nope.

It depends on whether or not it suits my needs at the time.

Let me ask you this: Does paying a higher price for something affect your perception of its quality?

My answer is still the same.

Price has little to do with quality in my world. I've bought a lot of expensive junk in my time.

I think it all depends on the situation but I'd have to say for the most part, no. :p

Nope. When I worked in pharmacy I always found it odd that people wanted to pay the exorbitant price for name brands...when if you look at the label...the generic has the EXACT same ingredients.

The only thing it affects is how much is left in my wallet.  Other than that, not at all.

Not really? At least not in most cases. I'm not really the type of person that puts much value on prices, designer labels, etc. If we're talking a price that is seriously a lot lower than it ought to be for what we're talking about, then I'd have to scratch my head a little though.
