I take the song on a few levels, some sadness, some happy. The first time I connected with it, I was sitting in France at a kite festival, having a fantastic time but, somewhat sad as the festival was wrapping up. Plus, I couldn't talk to many people there due to my single language. ;-) But, now whenever I hear it, I zoom right back to that moment.
