What makes livejournal so addictive for you?

The convenience of being able to keep in touch with so many, so easily... :D

Agreed. I like that I can keep up with what's going on with friends, as well as get info on just about any celebrity I choose - news, photos, etc. I know that's not everyone's thing, but it's enjoyable for me.

easy.. a way to keep in touch with friends, or make new friends PLUS a way to try to preserve a tiny bit of sanity by ranting and raving.

Ahh beautiful beautiful LJ.. how I adore thee.

The friends I have made, the stories we share. The support we give each other. The whole package really. That's why I plan to journal here as long as I can.

Conversation...convenience. When I took a year off from LJ, I found that all but 2 of my LJ friends weren't willing to keep in touch by email. That's what brought me back. I missed everyone too much.

The potential to meet people with similar interests and keeping up with the friends you've made. It also becomes a hobby as well. Often I am inspired by others postings like photos, poems, thoughts, etc

I have more interaction here than I do in my life. I have people who love me, talk to me, help me, cry with me, whatever. And I can vent to my heart's content about things that break me down. This is where I regain my strength.

It really isn't addictive for me. I've actually been trying to post stuff lately to get back into it. It's a good venting tool when no one is around to vent to, though.
And my posts probably increase whenever Brad is away. Haha.

I think it's the camaraderie, for the most part. When you go through something, USUALLY people ARE supportive I have had a few non supportiveness, but are they really friends anyway?

I have made some really tight friends via LJ and enjoy the diversity and sharing of thoughts, supports, laughter, and knowledge I gain from each and every one on my friends list!

You included :o)

The interaction with others, making friends from all around the world, being able to share my life with my friends here and being able to talk about things I would never share with people who know me in real life....and then there is this addiction with icon-making ;)

Sometimes I don't even know... lol. Maybe it's my penchant to have connection with human beings at (almost) all times.... maybe it's that i enjoy the attention and GIVING attention to others. Maybe it's just the connection I feel with people through it.

I really don't know. But when i go a day or two without ANY lj i do feel the absence.
