Hmmm, well that depends on the situation. While at work, I come from another angle. While out and about, whatever comes up. I do not have a standard, "Hi, etc. etc. etc."

Good question - got me thinking and I have no set answer as it depends on the climate in which I meet someone new.

If I'm asked, I tell them I'm a bard - scholar, Druid, writer, musician, artist. But I have to be asked. When confronted with someone new, I now tend to hold my tongue and watch them with all my burgeoning powers of observation.

It really depends upon the situation, and the vibe I pick up from the person. I usually don't reveal a whole lot, if anything, at first.
