Memorial Day

ayoubWhile Memorial Day isn't a British holiday (we have Armistice Day for this), I'm not one to let any day honouring the men and women of the armed forces go by without saying Thank You.
I have made, and will likely continue to make, a great deal of posts against war. In my ideal world, there would be no wars, and little need to call on people to make the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
But this is the real world and the call is there. The ones who answer it and go on to defend people they've never met, are heroes, and will have my undying gratitude and support.
So, to all who have served or are serving, and to their families, loved ones, and friends, from the bottom of my heart;
Thank You
For until we have peace, what peace we have, is because of you.
