I think it rocks pretty hard! I definitely prefer it to Facebook, Twitter, or even Tumblr. It seems to have the best features of all those sites with the personal touch and social dynamic of a site like LJ. In other words, it's the social networking site I've been waiting for all my life!
Deleted the Google+ account related to this username this morning.
Not impressed with their responses to privacy and security concerns. Don't mind you and others on my LJ friends list knowing my real name, but the rest of the world? No way.
Didn't like the "share via e-mail" option because it was spammy.
I'll stick to LJ and Dreamwidth unless they get it right.
