I want to write about all of you lovely people, so help me out here...

Comment with a word or a phrase that describes you, and I'll work it into a poem, picture, story, whatever...

Let's have a little fun :D

It had been a long night, and I felt I could sleep standing up.
She was so very demanding this morning as well.
Constantly wanting to play her games
Sleep wasn't going to happen.
No matter how much I tried to explain
No matter what I did
If I turned over
She scratched me
Always insistent.

Life with a cat in bed.

I could sleep standing up

Waiting for the end
For the loving flames
To lick my body
With their gentle caress

To turn me into
A pile of nothing
And help me find
My purest essence

I am a phoenix
Longing for death
To pull me lovingly
Into his cold embrace

And from my ashes
I will return
Stronger and finer
Than ever before

beautiful. I love what you came up with. Thank you.

for one reason or another this part has become my favourite:

I am a phoenix
Longing for death
To pull me lovingly
Into his cold embrace
.

I liked that part... it seemed so dark, yet so beautiful.

For the Phoenix, death is hope :)

Thanks :D

Young lovers nuzzle
Each moment spent apart
Is too long

Happy smiles abound
Even the cameraman's forgotten
In their world

Remembering...

In the dusty halls of my mind I wander
Strolling from room to room
Picking up objects seemingly at random
But all of them return to you

Through the cobwebs I journey deeper
Dusting off the fun times again
Sending some time with you now
Is all about remembering

A word from me?
Traveller :)

wow; thank you.

If I were a traveller
in a strange land
I could still trust the stars in the sky.
If i were a beggar
crippled and blind
I could still feel the Way
and get by.
All I need is Enough
and I don't need to know
where this road leads to;
how I can go.
But I might share tonight
your bed of cold stone
if I were a traveller,
travelling alone.

love and blessed be

Silly little monkey
Sitting in a tree
Not a care in the world
This chimpanzee

Watching as we scurry
From one place to another
Wondering why we do it
Scratching his head

Silly little monkey
Not as silly as you and me
Enjoying his own life
This chimpanzee

Hidden in plain sight
Just a glimpse
A shadow
Momentary vision

Searching for the one
The half noticed smile
The perfect visage
A face in the mist

Lovely little red haired girl
So pretty with her freckles
Sitting on the riverbank
Playing with rose petals

Her feet are in the water
Wavelets are lapping
The sun sets afire
Her lovely red hair

Such a beautiful thing
Perfectly formed
Sitting alone
Somewhat forlorn
Waiting for one
Forever hopeful
But should he be wrong
Perfectly poisonous

Put on her mask
She turns to face the world
A once silent soul
Hidden beneath her skin
She's pushing ever harder
Into the fires of rebirth
And waiting for the mask
To be fused to her skin
For the rebirth she seeks
Can only be reached
When the silence is filled
And the mask is no more

Very lovely friend...thank you! I kinda of love that line that I put...I was using in the sense of once being silent and keeping feelings hidden and The way it came out was so great I might even have to use it in something lol...But thank you dear I always love seeing things you come up with.
