my honesty. most of the people or things i have went on in my life was nothing but liars, and i became a brutually honest person. people like me for that. and i am proud of myself for it.
I'm a good friend, one of the best. I'm the first one people phone when there's some type of life crisis going on. I don't judge anyone on their choices and I bounce back from trouble quicker than anyone I know.
Blimey, I went off on one there! Turns out I like myself quite a bit *blush*
That was cool! I didn't know anyone still used the word "blimey" for real! I just thought it was a word Hollywood used to make dialog sound more English. Honest!
By the way, good answer. It's always a great feeling knowing that you can help folks in a pinch. You sound like you'd be a good mate to have in the trenches. A real solid.
ahhhhh.... I'm an Italian football fan. And Brazilians are better than us! *sobs* But, yeah, you're reprieved. So I think I'll add you to my friends list. Just, ya know, 'cos. :D
Hell, the Italians aren't slouches either! They always try to stick it to us when they can. If it makes any difference, I'm a Tufosi as far as Formula One autoracing is concerned.
I get along with any sub-culture. I have been accepted as black, white, rich, poor, jewish, middle eastern, Greek, Italian, Irish, and Mexican. I've even been accepted by folks who are xenophobic of those outside their circle, whether cultural, racial or familial. I've been a "nigga" in the eyes of inner-city black folks and been told "nigger jokes" by white racists.
Not that often. The real me is something that people would either use to make my life harder or that people would fear. Reference my 3rd & 4th Laws. There are those who know the real me, but they are few and trusted friends. I have few friends, but they are more solid than diamonds. Quality goes farther in friendship than quantity. Some things I wear on my sleeve, but other things I seal away. I excel at keeping secrets and confidences and I'm very proud of that.
James Clavell wrote in Shogun that everyone has 3 faces: One that you show to everyone, one that you only show to your friends, and one that you only show to yourself.
The recipe box I am working has a tufted titmouse on the lid, on the inside I am painting scatter bird seed and have written "Sharing food is sharing love". It is a sentiment I have always believed :), in New Orleans I volunteered at the NO AIDS task force, gardening, helping to cook and delivering meals every Wednesday (Natchitoches doesn't have any meals on wheels or food programs that are non church affiliated...I suppose not a large enough population). These days I content myself with feeding my daughters' college friends and neighbors. I think that there is something selfish in my desire to feed people and animals...I love to bake (it makes me feel cheerful), so much as I would like to be a goody two shoes, I fall into a more baking fiend catagory :).
i have gorgeous eyes and a big smile :D and personality wise, im a pretty good listener and i can actually surprise myself and give out really good advice...oh and im really proud of my writing...okay, im done being "modest" haha ♥ ~Sam~
