Hell yeah i would want to know. Just like i want them to fess up about having cures for these horrible diseases that were most likely started by them. *hugs*
Indeed I would... still waiting for the truth to come out regarding 9/11, conspiracy theories aside, the evidence that the Bush / American Government could have been involved etc is pretty startling.
Think of how much mileage he has gotten from 9/11, it his way of frightening everyone into doing what he wants.
But, anyway, yeah, I would... we need to shatter the illusions that the government is looking out for our interests.
"still waiting for the truth to come out regarding 9/11"
The saddest part is... if you could come out with cold, hard, incontrovertible *proof* of that... the majority of the American public would prefer to believe that you fabricated it.
Some people don't like to have their illusions shattered.
The irony of 9/11 is that it wasn't like America *wasn't* just as vulnerable to terrorist attack as any other place on earth prior to that event... it's that the citizens believed themselves to be safe. 9/11 shattered their illusions of safety - that were baseless to begin with. They now prefer to believe that x-raying peoples' shoes and taking away their nail-clippers and reading their email and tapping their phones somehow restored that illusory safety.
You can't shatter illusions that the people hold on to with such ferocity in the face of staggering proof against them.
I just realized that the posts about it are locked though... but anyway, there is another (short) movie (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8533904938803031452&q=jeff+king) about how there have to have been bombs inside the world trade center for it to explode like that.
I watched this last night.. Personally, whatever anyone thinks, they should watch this. I was just floored.. and I dont see any thing that hasnt been backed up in this documentary.
Hm...I suppose, though I have no idea what I'd do about it, if I did. Probably move to Alaska and start building the gun collection. However, assuming someone is informing me of this great government conspiracy, I think it would require a lot more proof than most people would have at their disposal to convince me that they weren't just nutters. A conspiracy theory has to be pretty solid before I'll buy it...I do not don the tin-foil hat lightly.
The image of the conspiracy theorist, and the amount of idiots out there trying to think up conspiracies is why the more plausible ones get overlooked :)
Because knowing - and knowing whilst others know as well - are two different things.
Knowing something the general public does NOT know - or refuses to believe is true - is a burden that isn't fun to bear.
Nothing like being labeled a whack-job, conspiracy theorist, paranoid... the list goes on... simply because you admit to knowledge that seems absurd or terrifying to your fellow man.
But yeah - I suppose I'd want to know - because I'm a knowledge junkie. I've learned just to keep my mouth shut about things that anyone in the 'mainstream' public would look askance at.
Damn right I'd want to know. And I'd want them put on trial for it. And if they were found guilty I'd want them in prison for life without parol. In the general population with all the other prisoners. See how they like it then, the motherfuckers.
