Day 63

[ayoub]

Soft glowing core
within beating black heart
gently cradled
kept safe from harm
by the invisible wings
of an angel
They reach through the black
to awaken the light
bringing forth its glow
lending strength
infusing love
coaxing incandescence
The light grows apace
consuming the darkness
for the angel has found
a core worth something
and will nurture it
to heal a broken soul
