do you really think that it happens because of being smart?...I don't think that if one can predict something because he/she is smart, it's up to some other resources, such as intuition, I believe. Curious, what you think of this.

I think part of it is definitely knowing the likely outcomes of actions, and that comes with street smarts. Intuition also helps :)
