these people that tease you about being left-handed, do they realize that it's no longer 1850? i always wanted to be left-handed, myself.

My laugh. When I really laugh, it's big and loud and one of those laughs you car here across a crowded room. People turn and look when I laugh. Friends and family often shush me or make fun of me. Sometimes, I hate my laugh, but as I get older I'm mostly irritated at people trying restrain my joy.

How mean and bitchy and selfish I was in the past. Sure, I know I've grown out of a lot of my bad stuff... but I'm still not comfortable with being teased about it.

Nasty comments re: the fact Im the only woman I know that was actively trying to put weight back on.

A size 12 trying to go back up to a size 16 (because I looked like a twig)did not deserve oink noises every time I came out of the kitchen!!!!

Anyway, Pixie is now a happy, curvy size 16 again, lol....so *raspberries* to em!

I have two things. My weight and being called stupid. Because they are both incredibly sore spots even though no one has ever made a serious comment about them.

They tease me about how I should be able to do this or that or KNOW this or that because of it. They tease me about how much better I should do things because of it. It's something I am VERY sensitive about.

keywords being not so recent. did you get a chance to see thursday's game? we're actually playing defense now (came 1 minute and a blown officials' call from our second consecutive shutout)! and the stadium was the loudest i'd ever heard it. probably over 125 decibels.

That I'm a very private person. People think, if you don't say much about your life then that means you have no life or need to get one. I've been told that so many times.

I talk about my private life to those that matter ... that's all. :)

Uhm, and being smart.

Oh ... that was two .... oops.

LOL- you always seem to ask a question that makes me say, "Oh man - don't EVEN let me start ranting about THAT!"

My cooking. For some reason, my family has always teased me saying I don't know how to cook. It's not true. In fact, quite the opposite - I'm a fairly decent cook. But it's one of those "family jokes" they think is still funny after all these years, and everytime I hear it I seethe inwardly.

Not the insults of others.
The charity of others, maybe, but not intended insults.
When you are a hundred pounds bigger and taller then all your classmates through High School, and you wore glasses and played D&D, you've pretty much heard everything anyone can dish out. Besides, my friends and I spend most of the time we hang out together making fun of each other, and most people aren't as good at it as my friends, nor myself for that matter.
Oh, I may bluster and such on occassion, but I never actually get upset, I've heard better and I can give better then I get. It's all part of the game, to me.
