Darkness looms
threatening
to wrap me up
in cold embrace

within me is a torch
a burning flame
ready to shine
and banish the night

I strike my flint
to light my tinder
and let the flame
engulf me

I am a light
a star among stars
and I will shine
just as brightly

And that, my friend, sounds a whole lot like acceptance and perseverance and a lot less like anger...

Anger may have its uses, but peace and the ability to accept and move on have more.

Peace within yourself is my wish for you this day.

You and I may have some religious differences but your God is a kind and loving one, I am sure that he wouldn't mind if you accept my well wishes as long as they come from a reverent and loving heart.
