That may be so, but you are not trying to tell me how to do my job when you can't do it yourself. As long as you don't do that we will get along fine.
I have a long history of engineers (mechanical, manufacturing, and electrical) who have no field experience, or pratical knowledge, trying to dictate how to do something because a book (written by someone who has never done it themself) said that it could be done. When you are talking to someone who has worked hands on in the field for 15+ years tell them what you want done and when you want it done. They will tell you if it is possible. Done try to dictate to them when you have never physically done it yourself. It pisses them off.
