My Favourite winter scene is SPRING! When the snow begins to melt and all this hellishly cold weather leaves. (-38C right now as I type this at 3 in the afternoon)
But seriously.... I think the image of a small but beautiful log cabin, in a forest with alot of pines, at Christmas time, with a fire going in the fireplace, the huge picture window has it's curtains pulled back and you see gently falling snow twinkle before you, as you sip hot chocolate and snuggle with someone you love under a goose-down comforter. Where all is quiet outside except for the occasional rustling of branches from the light winds. Where inside all you hear is the fire crackling, soft music playing, and the glow from the christmas tree in the corner of the room making the warmth oh so much more inviting.

*sighs* One day....
