I remember seeing Apollo 17 on a black and white TV screen. That's the most definitive early memory that I can put a finger on. I know it was Apollo 17 because that was the first ever night time launch and I remember that it was night time. I have earlier memories too, but the Apollo 17 one is the one that I can reference historically. I was four then.

I also remember a costume party earlier than that where I was dressed up like Superman. Mom made that costume for me. It was magical!

It's hard to pinpoint, that far back. But I know for sure one of my earliest memories is of feeding squirrels in the snow in Colorado.

My earliest memory is rather insignificant, but I had to have been between 12 and 18 months old. I was in one of those old automatic rocking swing harness...thingies. I just remember the click-click of the swing, the ugly 70's brown linoleum floors and the brown press-board walls. I told my mother about it once, and she says I described the dining room in the first house she and my dad lived in when they moved to Apalachicola. They were only there for 8 months. Like I said - nothing fun or cool, but it's the earliest thing I can recollect.

"Reading" to my grandpa. I wanted to show him my favorite book at the moment, so I pretended to read it to him. I couldn't read yet, of course, so I was really just reciting the book from memory. I think I was two or three at the time. Five at the most because he died before I turned six.

Little pink tenniss shoes (worn by me) kicking behind homeplate at a baseball game... I have no idea, but it's a memory, and I think my earliest one.

Hmmm.. I guess my earliest memory was playing near a firetruck parked in a gravel lot. I'm told that was at a house my mom used to live at when I was about a year and a half. More consistant memories kicked in around 3.
