ayoubWhat is this thing, this organ, so complex?
such a wondrous thing yet frightening
why do so many seek to understand it
or better yet, for some, to tame it?
It is a powerful thing, a natural miracle
it can be filled with feelings and strength
yet be fragile and shatter at a word
why do some seek to control it?
I stand in awe at the heart of a woman
and seek only to witness it's life
for what beauty remains in free spirits
when they are so tragically chained
