No.

But then it is impossible to be truly independent of everyone else.

Nutty
(currently freezing to death and hoping the roof of the half finished back porch does blow off in tonight's gale)

I don't think anyone is ever completely independent.  There is always someone to answer to, whether be in the form of a boss, a bill collector, the government (taxes and such).  Either that or I am becoming far too cynical in my old age. ;)

As much as I can be. There's always a limit for true independence, but I would say that I am so.

Independent spirit, but not independent in all aspects, to be that, then I would have to be able to support myself completly on every level, emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially etc. I cannot say I do this, you?

I like to think I am. I know I'm a lot more personally independent than I USED to be. When I have to do things alone, I can. But I definitely prefer having family and friends to lean on when possible. :)

Heh, there are always times when a little comfort is needed :)

Never been independent.

However, I am self sustaining. I am a powerhouse, sexually and emotionally. I absorb peoples energies, and I have learned how to manipulate others energies as well. My ex-girly once accused me of being a sponge because I could not control it. Now, I can.

So while I am NOT independent, and need another to survive and feel safe, and I need others to feel nourished as well, I make you need me too..

I am one of the most independent people I know. Not only in terms of supporting myself, living alone, having a career-- but also in how I think and act. It's taken me a long time to know myself well enough to have the confidence that is required for true independence.

I've actually been accused of being TOO independent, because I like to do everything for myself and I rarely ask for help. And I am very hesistant to involve myself in a serious romantic relationship because I value my independence so much.

Independent thought is very powerful, and a lot of people think it's dangerous, heh, but I'm an anarchist, so I like independent thinkers :)

Yes, beyond the standard responsibilities, and even those I can walk away from when I really want to.

No...I don't think i want to be, I have a few people I rely on without letting them get to close (if that makes sence) most of all i need to be the one others depend on.

I learned at an early age that no one was going to take care of me in this world...but me...so yes...I'd say I'm very independent. (That said...Jeff does a spiffy job of taking care of me when I let him!) :D

I like to think I'm independent but I know I always have my family to fall back on should there ever be a need. I guess it's 50/50 really.
