What would you rather do, win, or be right?

Well, let's see...I'm always right, and I never lose, so I'd have to say do.

...we are talking about doing something good aren't we? cuz that would be totally mustard (...still sounds weird to me...)

Isn't that the same thing?

Ooops - were my "idealistic" panties showing? How very shocking of me. Pardon me please, kind sir?

Shoot.. good question. I love politics for the sake of argument. I love to win, but it's pointless to win if I'm not right. Yet, it's also pointless to be right and not win.

In all I'd rather be right, like by being a Democrat etc, and just keep on trucking until I actually win. You can always have many chances to win, but if you're wrong once then it kinda skrews you.

P.S. Your country is AMAZING. I'm posting pictures later today. ;)

I hate losing, but i hate being wrong even more. So "losing" by way of education is just a small win on my part. Hooray nebulosity!

I'd rather be right so I can do something to win.

Winning is empty if I'm not right. But being right is extremely frustrating if I don't win.

Yet, in the long run, I'd rather be right and know it, even if no one else did.

Hmm,since you're a country where "right is wrong and left is right", I think that's a kind of dastardly question.
:P

But seriously; I prefer to be right because even if you don't win, you'll always have the consolation that you were right. I know it'll still suck if you don't win, but being right softens that up a bit.

Since the truth always outs itself, I'd rather be right.  It may take a while, but when others realize I'm right, I eventually win.

Clearly, I'm not alone in my answer. :) Your question presupposes a difference, where I don't see one. At least not in my case. :)

Be right. Winning is nothing if you're wrong.

Both. Given ease and an option, why compromise?

I can blow off being wrong, but loosing sticks in my craw.

Not sure I agree with the wording...
They aren't mutually exclusive.

But the best advice anyone gave us before my husband I got married was when my father said "remember: sometimes it's more important to fix what's wrong than it is to be right"

So "win"? no...

Glad you're enjoying yourself!
