Step
One foot
before the next
look around you now
here we all are, walking
the colours of autumn's trees
cannot hope to compete
with the myriad hues
of all of you who
walk this road
with me

Don't stop
if you want to
take another route
but come back someday
to walk some more with me
because we're all here
on the roads of life
share your path
with us all

Over here
don't walk alone
join me for a ways
I'll tell you of my road
if you tell me about yours
and for a few moments
we might just make
each other's road
just a little bit
more fun

I have to sit with poems for a while. I read this one a few times yesterday and then again this morning. I read it through different I's, if you will. It may not be how you meant it, but the one I enjoyed the most was reading it through the poetic I of a child.

I love this so much, excellent visual effects. I wish I could show you the visual poetry I had to do for this creative writing class I took. I never thought of posting it that way on my journal. You are so inspirational! I hope you had a good weekend. I am slowly getting caught up in lj land. I just posted the Fiji graphics at my journal -- when you get a chance.
