What action can you take today to make the world a better place?

Resolving not to fly any more planes into skyscrapers would make the world a better place today ...

If there were only one day when bullying didn't happen, even for just the handful of kids in my world, it would be a better world over all. I can see every day the huge toll the incessant bullying is taking on them, and I can't help but wonder what this will cost these kids and the world on down the line. I'm going to go talk to People In Charge of these children today, because I have run out of options.

Bullies will always remain bullies, I'm afraid... They just find more subtle ways to do it...

And they learn they can get away with it, so it seems to get worse as they get older..

Well, suicide comes to mind, but I'm not really in the mood.

Otherwise maybe I can make a few comments and write a story that makes a very few people smile, cuz making a few people's lives better for less than 60 seconds is the best I can do.

There would be no positivity to the world if a great talent like yours was lost... And that doesn't even begin to get into how much you would be missed as a great friend...

Write the story instead... Much better idea :D

It's always my first thought when a question like that is asked. Just reflex I guess. Sad but real. But thanks for the discouragement:)

in my estimation and opinion
the world will never be a better place
just varying degrees of bad depending on the mood and movement of man

Three sons will give you some optimism :D

And considering the wonderful story of you and your lady wife, I'm not so sure whether I believe your protestations of cynicism ;)

Love James a little bit extra.

Make someone laugh, they then in turn feel a little bit happier and maybe make someone else laugh and thus you have a chain reaction.
