Aye. That is why I am often uber-cautious. And I am huge information gatherer and not a huge risk taker.. Not saying it is the best way to do things. But it seems to be how I work. At least it has been since I became a single parent. I've heard this called "single mom mode." lol
It's easy to be a risk taker when you only have to worry about the impact to yourself and perhaps other adults. But throw in the impact of those under your protection, and it changes just how willing one can be to take big risks.. Little risks, sure. But ones...different story altogether. At least for me.
Which may be partly why I get the occasional Clue-by-four upside my head every now and then from the Universe..
I do too. But see, Mom is also a Blacksmith....and she works with Fire....as well as inspiration.... I don't get to see the healer/nurturing side of Brighid much. But the Smith? Oh yeah. Hammer...meet anvil...let's shape some metal... So yeah. She is a little harder-hitting with me.
