Knowledge. But you have to be willing to accept the responsibility though. There's no going back.

And so the question always becomes a balance between the knowledge gained and a loss of innocence, I think.

I'm a knowledge girl. Though, sometimes I think the ignorant have it easier.

But then of course knowledge without wisdom or discernment could very well be pointless.

I'd have to say knowledge, but then... knowing everything is not a good thing either. Life would be so boring if there were no surprises.

Ignorance is bliss, lol.

No, seriously. Even though the brain can get you hurt, it is better to be smart then stupid.

I keep wanting to ask "better for who?"

Because the answer to that is generally different depending on subject matter and which side of the equation you're on.

Excellent point... The government wants a group of mindless followers, while the people need to know what's going on...

Ignorance. If Cthulhu is hiding in my wallpaper, I really don't want to know about it. LOL

In some ways, ignorance is what allows us to keep our sanity when all the cards are stacked against us. Would you really want to know everything? There are reasons why there's no reliable way to predict the future. Do we really WANT to know how bad things can get, that would be the annihilation of all hope.

[But then, who ever said I was that bright, I'll probably masochistically continue seeking out knowledge no matter what the costs. I'm funny that way!]

How much ignorance and how much knowledge?

Cause a little bit of knowledge is great ignorance.

And a little ignorance can make you understand other things a little better.

You can only be knowledgeable if you're willing to work hard and obtain the knowledge. I wouldn't say I know everything but I know some things and if I don't know it I ask.
