I love white sandy beaches at sunset. Over looking the water's horizon and watching the multitude of colours and clouds swirl and fade into the bluish black velvet night sky.
I also love driving through the mountains and seeing the snow on all the evergreen trees up the sides of the mountains when the sun's first light is making it's appearance and all is quiet and fresh.
I love rainforests and the dampness and cool breezes that sometimes tickle your face. I love the magick that the whole area brings to my senses, that mayhaps faeries and other such beings are hiding in the monstrous trees and foliage. The coast of British Columbia has a wonderful little rainforest called Cathedral Grove and I swear fae dwell within it's many branches.
But the one scene I'd love to see and one day will see, is a lush, beautiful green moor that rolls along up to the edge of a cliff overlooking the Irish sea-side. Where the grass looks like soft carpet that you want to roll your way down upon. You stand at the edge of the cliff and feel like you're the only human there and the scent of the sea air intoxicates you.
Heh - as you can tell I don't just have one favourite. There are more but these are my most favourite.
The Jasper/Banff highway is one of the most beautiful places on earth, I'm convinced of it. Between the mountains and the snowy peaks and the glaciers...it's 'wow'.
Really and honestly, most to all gratuitous shots of nature just do it for me. Whether they're in micro (a flower, a tree, an odd piece of rock) or macro (a mountain range, a bank of storm clouds), it doesn't much matter to me. The effect is the same.
I do not know how to narrow it down...in fact I can't. Sorry love I just can't everything worth taking a picture of is beautiful scenery to me... everything is worth taking a picture of and every new picture is my favourite. lol
I love the mountains looking down onto a vast scenery of green and vibrant flowers. The sound of waterfalls and streams and the humming of birds floating around the sky.

Or high cliffs with waves crashing below. Maybe an ancient castle on the cliff.
