Who do you trust to always tell you the truth, no matter how painful?

My kin... :D

My dear friend Alison.
She is tells me the honest to god truth no matter what and I tell her the same. When she was in the processes of leaving her husband I pretty much flat out told her my thoughts on it even though it may not have been the right moment. She told me,"Nicky you are the only that I would let tell me that without freaking out on you."

I trust my younger sister with nearly everything immediately, and then just plain everything eventually. :o)

Myself - but I have a 'Tyrion Lannister' complex. I spin the truth gently for others, but for myself, it's an elephant gun at point blank range. I have no problems keeping myself real with the grotesqueness of my nature.

I still do not love myself enough to be especially kind to myself.

Yep, that's exactly how it works for me, too.  If you think I'm blunt with others, you should hear the tongue whippings I give myself, lol.

In addition, I also turn much of my frustration inward against myself in order to keep from picking at those closest to me. I like to pretend that this spares others, but that isn't quite the case. I tend to make them feel retroactively guilty. But I still like to think it's better than "Hulk SMASH!", ya know?

My grandma....I could depend on her about the truth about what was going on with the family.

She's passed, and now my source of information is gone...however, she still hangs around me. Obviously I'm her favorite!

I had to really stop and think. I don't know if *anyone* in my life consistently tells me the truth. My daughter (I think) does, but I think she is it. :( Wow, I'm not sure that feels very good.
