While I advocate a "Question Everything" philosophy, everyone has questions they either don't want to be asked, or don't ask themselves. What are some of yours?

I hate being asked about other people's opinions of me...

I think I'm pretty ok with the ask me anything. I also am at ease with asking near enough anything as well. That I think is from the years working as a Psychi nurse where I had to ask people everything and anything :)

It depends on who is asking. In 99% of situations, I dislike being asked about my personal feelings.

For me, it's not the questions, it's who's asking.

No one gets to ask me anything other than "How do you do?" until they've known me a few days.

With friends, I'm pretty open.

Anything that relates to my financial worth or what I own. Oh yes and my weight - a touch sensitive there. :P

Nothing really anymore..
I guess if I had to pick something it would be like yours people's opinions of me.

It used to be when people asked for specific details of why my ex and I divorced..

I always say "Do not ask a question you do not really want the answer to!". I wish more people would listen to that... lol.

If you know a shirt makes you look silly but want people to lie and say it is anti-silly... don't ask! LOL

So I guess my answer is when people ask a question of me that they expect a specific answer to and my answer is not what they hoped.

I know where this qotd came from.  LALALALALALALALALA!

I'm usually pretty much up for any question, but like another person said, it more or less who is asking the question and why they are asking it.  I'm a suspicious lass, lol.

BTW, I don't know if I told you this, but lately I have been turning to your QOTD to use as a writing prompt for my students each morning. I don't think I will use this one. They really struggled with the one yesterday, believe it or not. I think I would have too much trouble explaining what this question means. :D

Hm. Mine... Is it a real possibility that I may never find love again (partner kind of love)? I struggle even entertaining that I might be alone the rest of my life.

ayoub: Depends on who's asking the question. If I like them, I'm happy to answer all questions. If I don't like them, then I feel uncomfortable. But that's true for everybody. :)

I agree with several others here - it's not so much what's being asked as it is who's doing the asking. There are people that I'm completely open with and some that I'd rather not give more than the time of day.

I never know what they are until someone asks me. Usually, though, the only questions I won't answer are ones about a subject that I am still thinking on, and I will tell the person who asked as much.

Well, aside from the question, "What is that?" when regarding something in the back of the fridge.
Some things man was not meant to know wot of.

"Can you do my work for me?" ... it never gets asked that straight forwardly, but that's what they mean!
Kind of like: "Will you be the planet that revolves around me, for I am the sun" *grin*

I don't have to keep secrets, I just take my time with that, and mostly it is about the level of interest I see from others, how it will be perceived, and if it will cause them too much pain. Time is key.

Honestly, I don't hate being asked anything... I take anything that comes my way from others and myself. The worst thing that could happen is some hard feelings but those go away with time.

Ya know what I hate most is that nearly every conversation I have is all about the person I'm speaking to, whether they simply offer the information or I have to drag it out of them because it's obvious they want to converse but don't know what to say. Inevitably, they ask nothing about me, my life, my job, or even why I'm being nice enough to engage their sorry asses in conversation as it is:)

It really depend on who's doing the asking and what the subject in question is. I have different "off limits" subjects for different people, but I have at least a couple with pretty much everyone -- including my own boyfriend. In general though? I don't like it when people I only know arbitrarily (which is most people) ask me very personal questions or questions about my sex life.

Not that I have any problem with people who are otherwise, but I'm very private and reserved when it comes to that side of my life, so I don't consider it to be anyone's business. The only exception is if I open something like that up for discussion on my own. Then whoever I'm talking to (or posting to) is free to ask any question they like.
