From what I know of the show (I have a little one here), Bob the Builder is a licensed general contractor, so his license covers all areas of the building trade (plumbing, electric, hvac, etc.).

By the way, my husband is a licensed electrician, that's how I know all this gobbledy gook, lol.

I have two licensed journeyman electricians in my family; brother and brother-in-law. Neither one will come over and help me...lol

I wasn't aware that cartoon characters could be licensed general contractors...I thought they had to go to school for all that.

I don't know many general contractors who do their own work, they all hire it out.

(I have a small son as well, but we haven't watched Bob the Builder in ages.)

I was kind of being silly, but Bob the Builder actually is licensed as a character or trademark of his creators. ;)

Most general contractors I know hire it out as well.  Geez, I'm in the wrong line of work now that I think about it, lol.
