What would your ideal world be like?

John Lennon's "Imagine" comes to mind...

Hmmm.....

No bugs, sunlight (at least minimal so life could continue living), no sand. Plant and animal life would learn to live off moonlight.

Everyone would be nude. Clothes would be burned. Tattooing and piercing would be free.

People would not be hung up on overly fat nudity, because we just would not give a shit.

No STD's and consentual sex with anyone and everyone would be part of our daily life and no one would get upset about it. Everyone would magically get "fixed" after two kids to control overpopulation.

Mad Cow's Disease would be eraddicated.

Sure there is lots more to this, but this is the shit that really stands out.

Added you back. And be warned!! I am mouthy, sometimes emo (okay, a lot emo) and rage a lot. But I am very loving too. I created this journal to help me with my anger management and so far it has worked because I have not gone back to jail.

Glad to have you! Hope I don't step on any toes...

Ohhhh thank goodness.

Tattoos being free is a fab idea. I want more, and the money is like, non-existant?

My ideal world...

...be where everyone accepted each other for who they were, where everyone (including animals) would be treated with kindness, decency, and respect, where there would be laughter, song, dancing, and smiles, and where peace, love, harmony, and kindness reigned.

Yes, it's both very sappy and naive. But it's what I truly believe in.

Hugs. *HG*

God bless and take care. :).

I would love to live in that world... sounds wonderfully sappy and wonderfully naive, and I wish there was more of that in the world. *smile*

In all honesty, this is the world Jehovah's Witnesses says will be permanent after Armageddon. :)

Ah,...

I'm not a Jehovah's Witness.

So I wonder what this makes me? *BG*

*laughs* I know your not. I was just commenting that this perfect world is what they deem Paradise and part of God's original plan that is to be restored after Judgement Day.

Personally, part of the reason I left. I don't want Paradise nor do I want Heaven, so I just sit back and listen now.

Whatever religion you are, that is great. Religion is good thing. Was not trying to step on toes, just a thought when I read what you guy's described. :)

Actually,...

Date: 2009-02-03 01:49 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] mikesmaddie.livejournal.com
...I don't go to church.

I do enjoy reading about different religions and faiths.

But I don't go to church, I don't worship, and I don't pray.

However, from my reading of various religions, faiths, and belief systems, a little something from each calls to me. And somehow, they have made their way into how I carry out my day to day life.

And thanks for sharing your own perspective on this, as it's most appreciated. *big smile*

God bless and take care. :).

Dreamy place to live. My dreamy is a little naughtier, I have this urge to tie my "coach" up making being in the arms a little more difficult, but the gist is on the same page, no? *Giggles* You will have your world dear. I know it with all my heart.

Well the nuances are slightly different. It's more of a shelter/comfort thing than lust. :) But I would love to sleep in his arms. What we do before sleeping...well... ;D

Then that is the perfect world. While I always feel safe in Charlie's arms, I could never classify it as shelter, or comfort. He can protect me from others but not from himself.

Now, Raven? If I could sleep in those arms? It would be exactly like how you depict it. I feel safe from Charlie when I am talking to Raven. Raven is the only one that has even come close to making me feel like I have a home, where I can seek comfort, and I won't ever get those arms.

So my world is pretty much deluisional.

I was merely stating that tying up Charlie is the best idea yet, so I can punish him and please myself at the same time!

I am struck these days by the amount of stupidity and rude inconsiderate behaviour that people are allowed to get away with - this would not be allowed in my world.

Love, peace and harmony... friendly debate and differing opinions are great, but no hate and violence or bigotry.

Commercialism, and profit making would not happen, people would exchange goods and services with eachother, the world would be more of a community.

A world with clean natural resources, harmonious living with nature, and super technology (plus great health care). Castles and villages on the landscape are a bonus. We can call it Rivendelland.

Work wouldn't be work (if i were at work)... and i would have babies. Like 2 of them (but not at the same time). Jimmy's job would be fulfilling and at the same time one that ends at or around 5/6pm.

We would have a house... and be settled. Wait... that's just MY PERSONAL world. Oh, well, that's all the energy i have for creativity right now.

It'd just be me on it, and whenever I got lonely I'd snap my fingers and someone I like would show up. Of course I'd have to be sneaky about how I snapped em back cuz I wouldn't want them to realize I was in charge and didn't let them run around my planet willy nilly; but I think I could handle that.

What happens if you snap your fingers and no one shows?

Or, worse yet, what if you snap your fingers and *poof* here comes Fran Drescher. Have fun with that, ya lucky so-and-so!

In my fantasies, everything works the way it's supposed to. It's only in real life everything is screwed up. As for Fran, that'd be fine. I'd just constantly talk about sad stuff so she wouldn't laugh:)

Well, if you're going with a song theme, "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong comes to mind.
....
But if you ask me, it's one where I have my own road system and thus don't have to deal with other drivers, because most of them are TERRIBLE, especially recently.

If you think about it, Ayoub, what I consider an ideal place is a really nice thing. Everybody gets an eternal life with the chance to redeem themselves for all the mistakes they made.
